Ups and downs

I finished Twlight on Monday, started New Moon and then finished it yesterday. LOVE these books, can’t wait to get the next two tonight.
Saturday Serena spent the night at my mom’s house with my nephew, Matheu. Sometime during the night Serena and Matheu both ended up throwing up. Serena kept it up periodically, he just had the one time. So I ended up picking her up at eight in the morning on Sunday. She was sick all day, didn’t eat anything, just drank 7up. Monday she woke up fine, but I was glad there was no school because she would have stayed home anyway. JJ on the other hand had gotten sick apparently because when I was breastfeeding him after their bath he threw up all over me and the bed, nice. I started my week long laundry right after I got us both cleaned up. He kept throwing up all day, even though he didn’t eat anything. He slept a lot as well, so I was able to read Twilight 
which was nice. I think we both went thru like three sets of clothes that day. Sometime during that day I started feeling queasy as well, the only difference is I didn’t throw up, it (sorry for tmi) went the other way. Tuesday was more of the same for JJ and me, but I had my mom there to help since I didn’t feel well either. Wednesday I was better but JJ wasn’t. He was keeping more down, but still throwing up or exploding in his diaper (nice visual eh?). I called about my medi-cal and got everything figured out so I was able to get him to the doctor yesterday. Apparently the stomach flu is going around, and will continue to float around til May. JJ seems a lot better today, no vomitting yet *cross fingers*. Ruben (Javy’s uncle) is sick though, I feel bad about that. Everyone in this house something wrong with them it seems.
Mvoing on, speaking of yesterday, we went to H&R Block to get our taxes done. When we found out how much our refund is, I almost jumped out of my seat screaming for joy. I won’t say how much it is exactly, of course, but I will say that it’s enough to get us on our own again, one way or another. I’m just waiting for them to call so I can pick up our check. The bad thing is that Javy won’t be home til proably after four. I don’t know if I can take the waiting anymore lol.
Well this has turned into a novel, I’m going to go burn a CD before I have to pick up Serena.
Ugh, I completely know what it’s like to be sick lately, it seems to be going around EVERYWHERE! Hope everyone feels better soon!!
I can’t wait to get our taxes done, I already have the money spent in my head, haha.
