Serena started first grade on Monday. So that means back to practically no sleep. It doesn’t help that we almost never get done by 3, which is when we’re scheduled to get off. Serena’s birthday is also coming up at the end of the month. Instead of a party we’re taking her to the zoo since we still have the 4 tickets I won in the raffle at work last year. Plus it’ll be cheaper than having a party, which is great for us right now.

My birthday is a week from Monday. Twenty seven. That’s how old I’m going to be. The crazy thing is that I keep forgetting how old I am lol.

Okay, as usual, I forgot what I was going to type haha. So back to my soaps.

Tonight after we cash my check we have to go get a few small things, probably from Target. I’m trying to remember what all we need. I know we have to get pots and pans, a trash can, and silverware, but that’s all  can think of at the moment.

I’ve been looking at a few websites about couponing and once a month cooking. I know I want to do the whole coupon thing because I know I can save a lot of money with them, we’ve done it before. I’m thinking about doing the once a month cooking when they move out. I figure I’ll give it a shot and if it works for us awesome. If it doesn’t work, then oh well it doesn’t work, but at least I tried it.

On a last, unrelated not, my vicadin has been making me itchy like crazy.

Anyways, back to the beds. I searched craigslist and I found an ad for a bed from Ikea with a trundle bed underneath. The bed, with bother mattresses, was $75. You can’t get any better than that. The guy even drove it over here in his truck, for a little bit extra. Before we put the bed in the room I’m going to get some kind of disinfectant spray and spray the crap out of the mattresses, even though they said they were barely used. You can tell they were barely used, but you never know. I’m also going to get a couple of those mattress covers with the padding.

Now all that’s left to get is a new pots and pans set, since the one we had was cheap and crappy and started peeling. We need silverware, I found out Javy didn’t like the set I got from Ikea, so I think we threw it away. What else? I think that’s it in the essentials department.

Javy’s uncle, the one we’re renting the house from, has to find a fridge for us though. We’re using my mom’s right now. Javy asked her how much she would want for it, since she’s not going to need it when she moves. Her insane butt says $500 for a 5 year old fridge that she never paid for since she went bankrupt. It’s that kind of stuff she does that makes me mad and makes me think forget her. She said we could have her couches, if we get her brakes done. Which is another thing she didn’t pay for. These thing she’s not going to be able to use, or have room for, so wtf is she trying to make money off of things she didn’t end up paying for.

The last earthuake I felt was a couple months ago, I want to say it was on Easter, but I’m not 100% sure on that. I was at work, near the fryer of all places, talking to Timmy and Jason when everything just started swaying. Nothing happened here or at work, thank goodness. But that was the earthquake that messed up downtown Calexico.

Maybe the “big one” is coming? I’ve been hearing about it since middle school. Supposedly Cali is due for a huge earthquake on the San Andreas fault. Fun huh? Cali is so going to break off and just go floating off into the Pacific haha. But seriously though, I’m terrified of the “big one” happening, I really hope it holds off until everyone I know and I die lol.

Not too much else exciteg going on around here. Today is my payday and Javy said he wants to see if we can find a decent treadmill for a couple hundred dollars. I also want to go to the San Diego fair this year, we’ll see how that goes. Well I better finish cleaning the house before it’s time to pick up Serena and Adrian.

Is it bad that Javy and I both want new phones and we’ve only had ours for a little over a month? He actually has a real excuse though: the rumor2 sucks. He can’t do all the awesome things I can do on my phone. Facebook app, myspace app, twitter app, youtube app etc. I just want a new phone because I changed my mind about the whole touchscreen thing. I was totally against it, wtf do I need touchscreen for? So it can mess up and I’m screwed? (Remember I have a 2 year old who loves to play with phones.) But then I saw the samsung seek on sprint’s website. That phone looks awesome and I want it.

Have you ever bought something and it was defective? How about food? Ever bought some kind of food and it’s defective? Well we went to the grocery store the other day and Javy bought a hungryman tv dinner with the boneless chicken. When we got home and I was getting ready for work he decided to make that for his dinner. He opened it and…there was no chicken! We were like wtf? How do you do that?

Last night at work Laura said she was feeling sick because she had food poisoning. So I asked her why she didn’t call out so we could have found a replacement. She said she doesn’t have insurance so she wouldn’t be able to get a doctor’s note. All this in my opinion was complete bullshit, but I didn’t want to have someone there that didn’t want to be there because then she would have dragged her ass and we would have gotten out late. Three o’clock in the morning is late enough as it is thank you. Anyways I sent her home after I got my important breaks out of the way. Amazingly enough we still got out at 3, thanks to Steven who stayed til almost 3 instead of 1. Maybe I’m wrong about that guy.

Time to go get Serena…

I woke the kids up and put them in a bath. Next I tried to wake up Javy. At this point Serena informs me that “daddy went to sleep at 3″. WTF?! I knew he had people over because they were here before I left for work. They were here to watch the UFC fight. Fine, you know we have plans, I trust you not to be stupid. Bad move obviously. Javy was outside with his cousins listening to music and drinking until 3 o’clock in the damn morning. He tells me he’ll be ready in an hour. Yeah right. I finish getting the kids cleaned and dressed and then climb back into to bed to get more sleep since we’re obviously not going. I’ll stop here on that topic since I was really pissed off about that whole situation and I don’t want to say anything more that I shouldn’t.

When Javy and I wake up again a couple hours later, Serena said she was hot and she didn’t feel good. Turned out she had a fever of a little over 103. WTF? How the hell did she get sick? We have no idea. But the fever was off and on the rest of the day Sunday and all day Monday. Today she has no fever, but she did throw up in the morning. Obviously I didn’t send her to school because of the fever the past couple days anyway. Now she feels fine, but her throat hurts and she refuses to eat. So I’ve been giving water and gatorade. I’m thinking maybe I should go get her some pedialite later?

Today I have the day off, but it’s payday. I love having payday off. This should be a decent check considering all the overtime I have on the pay period. I want to go shopping, badly.

Sunday we’re going to go see Shrek and then take the kids to Chuck E Cheese’s. I’m excited to see Shrek, I love those movies. They’re not just for kids cartoons, which is awesome. Chuck E Cheese’s should be pretty awesome, too. Javy got two $10 gift cards from some lady when he fixed her garage door, so that’s $20 less we’ll have to spend. The only thing is JJ is thisclose to old enough for us to let him loose, but he’s not quite there. He doesn’t want to sit down and eat, he just wants to play, so he starts his high pitched “mama!”. It sucks having people look at you like “hello? wtf?”. But you know what? I don’t care, I’m a good parent no matter what they may think.

JJ’s also a guy’s guy, besides being a mama’s boy. He loves sports (playing & watching), playing with cars and playing pow pow with daddy. It’s funny since for longest time he just had his sister’s toys to play with, which are obviously girl toys. Maybe it is in guys’ genes to like cars, sports and girls lol. Did I mention how big of a flirt JJ is? Seriously. What’s even funnier is that he can touch a girl’s boobs (big boob guy here) and the girl will just laugh. Any other guy I know does that, they’ll get slapped haha.

K well it’s time to pick up Robert from school…

Work has been terrible at times lately. People have been coming and going so much it’s ridiculous. On top of that not too many people will close or work late night. That part really leaves me screwed since I’m pretty much the closing manager. So I get stuck with new people or this one slow guy. I have ONE good closer right now, and that really needs to change.

My brother bought Band Hero for his PS3 on Friday, and let me tell you how awesome it is! I love it. I play the drums in our “band”. I’m getting better each time I play (which isn’t very often). The only problem is we need a band name, right now we’re porcelain chicken, which is the name it gave us lol.

Not too much else going on, write soon…I hope.

I got a new cell phone, finally! I’m still super excited about it even though I’ve already had it for like 2 weeks lol. We switched to Sprint and got some awesome deals on our phones since we ordered online. I got the samsung exclaim and Javy got the rumor 2. Personally I think my phone is better, but it could be because it’s mine heh.

Serena is almost done with kindergarten. Can you believe that? KINDERGARTEN! I can’t believe it. In a few short months she will be starting first grade and turning 6. As I type this she is reading, seriously reading, a couple books she got from school. It is insane how fast they grow up. She plays on the computer (nickjr.com) and plays the wii all by herself. She can pick out her own clothes and do her own hair when she feels like it. Like I said it’s insane.

Poor JJ had his teeth fixed finally last week. The lil guy had to get 4 caps, 5 fillings and a tooth pulled. They had to put him to sleep to get it all done, but everything went well. He’s still putting up a fight when we brush his teeth, but other than that he’s good now. No more crying and pointing at his mouth saying “urt”.

Being a shift lead at work is stressful, but for the most part it’s okay. There have been a couple days when I snapped. One of those days I cried and the other day I yelled at someone. Both days were VERY busy and people were complaining about stuff that I had no control over, so I snapped. But after having a day off after each of those, I was fine. Speaking of work, I better go get ready and do dishes before I leave.
