Serena started first grade on Monday. So that means back to practically no sleep. It doesn’t help that we almost never get done by 3, which is when we’re scheduled to get off. Serena’s birthday is also coming up at the end of the month. Instead of a party we’re taking her to the zoo since we still have the 4 tickets I won in the raffle at work last year. Plus it’ll be cheaper than having a party, which is great for us right now.

My birthday is a week from Monday. Twenty seven. That’s how old I’m going to be. The crazy thing is that I keep forgetting how old I am lol.

Okay, as usual, I forgot what I was going to type haha. So back to my soaps.

I woke the kids up and put them in a bath. Next I tried to wake up Javy. At this point Serena informs me that “daddy went to sleep at 3″. WTF?! I knew he had people over because they were here before I left for work. They were here to watch the UFC fight. Fine, you know we have plans, I trust you not to be stupid. Bad move obviously. Javy was outside with his cousins listening to music and drinking until 3 o’clock in the damn morning. He tells me he’ll be ready in an hour. Yeah right. I finish getting the kids cleaned and dressed and then climb back into to bed to get more sleep since we’re obviously not going. I’ll stop here on that topic since I was really pissed off about that whole situation and I don’t want to say anything more that I shouldn’t.

When Javy and I wake up again a couple hours later, Serena said she was hot and she didn’t feel good. Turned out she had a fever of a little over 103. WTF? How the hell did she get sick? We have no idea. But the fever was off and on the rest of the day Sunday and all day Monday. Today she has no fever, but she did throw up in the morning. Obviously I didn’t send her to school because of the fever the past couple days anyway. Now she feels fine, but her throat hurts and she refuses to eat. So I’ve been giving water and gatorade. I’m thinking maybe I should go get her some pedialite later?

Today I have the day off, but it’s payday. I love having payday off. This should be a decent check considering all the overtime I have on the pay period. I want to go shopping, badly.

I’ve been super tired lately, even when I get enough sleep. Last night I got home from work around 8:20 and we went to sleep around 9:30-10. Javy woke me up when he left a a little before 7, so I got plenty of sleep, but I was still tired this morning. I’m still sitting here yawning, even after taking a small nap with JJ.

Javy texted me the other day when I was almost at work asking why I was acting different. I was like wtf are you talking about? I don’t mean to be acting different, I didn’t even know I was. He said I’ve been acting like “last time”. I told him there is absolutely NOTHING going on, and I hope he believes me. I love him more than anything, and I need him to know there’s nothing going on.

I cannot wait until my mom and my brother move out. There will be a lot more room for us and I think a lot less stress. A lot less mess as well and I won’t feel like a freakin maid cleaning for just my family and not other adults who can do it themselves, but obviously refuse to do it. Speaking of which, I need to ge to cleaning…

Right now I’m playing WoW and watching Julie & Julia, I’ve bee wanting to watch this for a while. This movie made me want to blog and it also makes me want to buy Julia Child’s book and try out her recipes. I love cooking, Rachael Ray is my Favorite cook by the way. I love trying new things all the time, I just never get to cook that much, which sucks. But if anyone has any suggestions on something I should make I’m always up for new recipes

Javy is playing some PS3 with Carlos and Carlos’ brother, Tito. They haven’t been by on a while. Carlos and Javy were best friends, until Carlos’ wife, Elsa, came into the picture. After she came into our lives, Carlos isn’t allowed to see Javy. For some reason God knows why, she hates Javy. But that’s a whole other story. The guys came by to watch the UFC fight and apparently to play some video games. So I’m in the room with the kids, watching a movie, and on the laptop.

Off to finish playing some WoW before bed, I have work in the morning, bleah.

I’m sick and it sucks. It started with Serena, passed on to JJ and then to me. I called out Wednesday and Thursday because I just felt like total crap. Plus when you work in the food industry, going to work sick is not a very good idea ya know? Luckily I have tonight and tomorrow off, but Javy is going to Vegas. Do you know how nervous I am about him going to Vegas with his boss all weekend? Seriously, my stomach is in knots, it’s horrible. But I don’t want to be one of those wives that always says no, you can’t go. He knows what I expect anyway, so it should be fine right?

Normally I don’t get the chance to make dinner for Javy and the kids, which I’ve felt horrible about. But yesterday and today I’ve been able to make dinner, or at least start it. Last night was a yummy pasta I got from Rachael Ray’s Big Orange Book. Tonight is going to be green enchiladas. I’m boiling the chicken as we speak, er I mean type? Whatever. I’m also making some uber delicious brownies that I made for Taco Bell’s “Christmas party” last month. They’re called knock you naked brownies. I’m ALL over the mother n wife thing right now lol.

Other than that not too much going on lately, except planning JJ’s birthday party. His 2nd birthday is on the 15th and his party is on the 20th. I made the invitations over the weekend, I just need to get the right paper, print them out and hopefully get them sent/handed out this weekend. The party theme is Yo Gabba Gabba, but nobody we know knows what the hell it is lol. Even the ones with kids JJ’s age! Well they’re going to find out soon. JJ LOVES that show. It’s a unique theme and nobody else we know is going to do it, so I’m happy with it.

Back to work tomorrow, oh joy. I don’t want to go to work. Why did they have to give me so many days off in a row? Of course I’m going to get used to staying home lol. I wish we had been able to get me a car so that Javy doesn’t have to take me to work and pick me up. I guess we can still go after he gets off work and check out a couple places. I have been learning to drive his car, it’s a stick, and I’m doing pretty good. The only thing is that his car is hard to turn on so I can’t just take it to work cuz I’ll never get it turned on lol.

We’re getting a puppy Saturday. Javy’s uncle Ruben has one more puppy left and asked if we wanted her. We said sure, all I have to do now is figure out a name for her. Javy doesn’t like Ginger and someone already had a pitbull named Jade so that’s out too. Any ideas?

Wednesday is Javy’s 27th birthday, so I think the plan is to go have some drinks with his cousin Vanessa and her fiance Isiah. Also that day Serena starts at her new school. We have to switch her schools because I don’t have a car anymore. We did fix Javy’s car so that he can get to work and he can take me to work, or wherever we neeed to go. But his car has no AC. How can you survive San Diego weather without an AC in your car? It’s hard I can tell you that. So anyways that means that I can’t take her to the other school anymore so I have to enroll her in the school around the corner. At least I’ll be able to sleep a little bit more and get some workout from dropping her off and picking her up. I just have to get my ass over there and get her registered.

I’m also hoping that I can get something done with this site in the next 4 days. (I totally can’t believe I have 4 days off in a row, I’m totally prepared for a call saying Jenn can you come in tonight.) I want to make a layout and get it up, but don’t hold your breath because I’ve said that many times and nothing has happened lol.

Tonight we’re making steaks, baked potatoes, salad and corn. I haven’t cooked in forever because when dinner comes around I have to be at work. So these next few days I’m planning on cooking as well, and I’m excited about it. Maybe I’ll take pics of my beautiful meal tonight, if I remember lol. I need to upload pics to my flickr more often, I did it once and haven’t touched it since. I have tons and tons of pics, and probably stories to go with them, but when I sit down to post I have nothing really to say lol.

Last week Serena was at Javy’s grandma’s house with his little cousins getting her hair done because they love to do that with her. Serena told Jazminee that I don’t want Serena to look like Jazminee because I said she was something…a bad word. So Jazminee’s dad got all mad at Javy because they think I called her a bad word. Nope. I called her ass a hoochie because I didn’t want to say anything worse than that. Javy on the other hand did call her a hoe lol. There’s a lot to back it up, plus her myspace pics don’t help her argument that she’s not one. But whatever she wants to go around kissing whoever she wants and dressing however she wants go ahead, so what happens and where it gets you. I guarantee you won’t be happy with how you end up honey.

OK off to make the salad for dinner.

Yesterday I had the day off, so Javy took the day off as well so he could get some court stuff done and we could spend the day together.We also finally got the house sprayed for ants because it was getting to be ridiculous how many ants we were getting. Since we had to be out of the house for a few hours after they sprayed we went school shopping for Serena. It went nice and smooth too since she is in Tulare with Javy’s mom until tomorrow. We were able to get her clothes that were NOT pink or princess lol. She’s getting so big already, she starts kindergarten on Monday. Seriously? Monday? Already?! We got her a princess backpack and everything else on the list it said she needs. Kids need dry erase markers now, did you know that? I mean why do they need them? Whatever she has some.

When she starts school I’m going to be so tired, it’s not even funny. I’m going to be getting off work at like 1 AM, get home around 1:30, fall asleep at 2. Then I have to get up early enough to get the kids and myself dressed so we can drop Javy off at work, leaving by 7. Then Serena starts school at 8:20. Hopefully I can take a decent nap with JJ while Serena is at school. Tuesdays are gonna suck though because she gets out like 12 or 1 something instead of 2:45. Fun times.If we didn’t have to turn the camry back in (don’t ask) then my mornings wouldn’t be so damn busy, but we did and now I’m going to be sleeping any chance I get lol.

Not too much else going on here. My mind is always going crazy about some stuff, so I try to stay busy so I can’t think lol. Other than that just working, 2 more weeks until I am shift lead, which will be great because I’ll get a 50 cent raise. Better than nothing right?
