I don’t have to work until Friday. What am I supposed to do until Friday?

Wednesday is Javy’s 27th birthday, so I think the plan is to go have some drinks with his cousin Vanessa and her fiance Isiah. Also that day Serena starts at her new school. We have to switch her schools because I don’t have a car anymore. We did fix Javy’s car so that he can get to work and he can take me to work, or wherever we neeed to go. But his car has no AC. How can you survive San Diego weather without an AC in your car? It’s hard I can tell you that. So anyways that means that I can’t take her to the other school anymore so I have to enroll her in the school around the corner. At least I’ll be able to sleep a little bit more and get some workout from dropping her off and picking her up. I just have to get my ass over there and get her registered.

I’m also hoping that I can get something done with this site in the next 4 days. (I totally can’t believe I have 4 days off in a row, I’m totally prepared for a call saying Jenn can you come in tonight.) I want to make a layout and get it up, but don’t hold your breath because I’ve said that many times and nothing has happened lol.

Tonight we’re making steaks, baked potatoes, salad and corn. I haven’t cooked in forever because when dinner comes around I have to be at work. So these next few days I’m planning on cooking as well, and I’m excited about it. Maybe I’ll take pics of my beautiful meal tonight, if I remember lol. I need to upload pics to my flickr more often, I did it once and haven’t touched it since. I have tons and tons of pics, and probably stories to go with them, but when I sit down to post I have nothing really to say lol.

Last week Serena was at Javy’s grandma’s house with his little cousins getting her hair done because they love to do that with her. Serena told Jazminee that I don’t want Serena to look like Jazminee because I said she was something…a bad word. So Jazminee’s dad got all mad at Javy because they think I called her a bad word. Nope. I called her ass a hoochie because I didn’t want to say anything worse than that. Javy on the other hand did call her a hoe lol. There’s a lot to back it up, plus her myspace pics don’t help her argument that she’s not one. But whatever she wants to go around kissing whoever she wants and dressing however she wants go ahead, so what happens and where it gets you. I guarantee you won’t be happy with how you end up honey.

OK off to make the salad for dinner.

As you may or may not know I have been having trouble creating my own themes for wordpress because it has been so long since I’ve had my own site. Which is why I use free wordpress themes. Even then though I am very picky about which ones I use. This article helps with explaining the different themes and it even includes a couple sites that have free wordpress themese as well. The one thing this article does not help me with is making the themes my own ya know? Like customizing it with my own graphics so I feel better about having it up on my site. I don’t like using other people’s themes, but until I can get back into my groove it will have to do. The article also brings up paying for your own personalized themed made by someone else, unfortunately I do not have the extra money for something like that. Plus I do not think I would spend that money even if I had it, no offense to anyone who does buy their themes. I’m not just that much into my site as I used to be to pay for one. The article also talks about installing themes and gives a couple sites that can help you with that. Overall this article would be helpful for anyone new to wordpress and its templates.

Serena’s preschool promotion was on Friday. They had a performance, received certificates and had cake, but the last day of school is this coming Friday. On the last day of school the class is going to be at the park, so I have to take her there and JJ and I will be staying, too. Which remind me I signed up for drinks and plates, so I hope I don’t forget to buy them.

Saturday was Serena’s last T-ball game. They won, which is always good. Everyone got a little trophy with their name on it (thanks to Ruben’s bitch fit about names on the trophies ). We also went to a party at Javy’s grandma’s house which was for Danny’s HS graduation, Robert’s MS graduation and Miguel’s 16th birthday. (All Javy’s little cousins.) Robert ended up getting a little tipsy off of someone’s drink. That boy can’t handle his alcohol, I know he’s only 14, but I think he’ll always have that problem.

Moving on…I also got another month of play time for WoW last night. I haven’t played in forever. I started a new toon because I didn’t feel like jumping onto my 48 hunter and being ganked while trying to level lol. Javy also said that maybe when I get paid Tuesday I can buy my Sims 3. *fingers crossed*

Other than that I’ve been working a lot. Mostly 5pm to 1am shifts, fun stuff. My next day off isn’t until Sunday, Father’s Day, because I requested it off for the BBQ at Javy’s grandma’s house. (Yes almost every party is over there lol. Which is great now since we live right down the street.) Also I know I keep saying I’m working on a layout, but I really am, I just don’t have the time or patience to sit and work on one for hours  that I need like I used to back in the days.

Today is payday woo! Unfortunately I don’t think I’m going to be able to shell out the $50 for the sims 3 Stupid rent and bills oh and the over $200 worth of food we bought over the weekend. *sigh* Next check is free and clear so far *fingers crossed* So after I buy Javy’s father’s day present (brand new grill that he’s been wanting and now we live in a house we can have one) hopefully I can get it.

I’ve been trying, when I can, to get a new layout up. I’ve made the graphics, a few different ones actually, but I can’t for the life of me get it coded. I guess it’s been a little too long since I’ce done the site thing lol, I can’t remember how to do much.

Work tonight 5-1 and tomorrow 5-1, Thursday off and then 4 days in a row of 5-1 again. FUN STUFF! I’m going to be SO tired this week.

When I got to work on Saturday, Sandra told me that she was going to be ordering 2 shift leader books and she was wondering if I’d be interested in becoming a shift leader. It’s a chance for more money so of course I said yes. She told me to try and learn what’s on everything within the next 7 days. So starting yesterday I’m having Javy test me from the website. If I worked the line more then maybe I would know a lot more of what’s on what, but I’m always front counter or drive thru, not that I’m complaining.

Not too much else going on here, as usual. JJ’s been a big time buggaboo lately, crying all the time and we don’t really know why. I have to remember to get Serena’s transfer paperwork done and take it to the district so she can stay at her current school for kindergarten. I also have to work on getting healthy families insruance for the kids at least, JJ needs his 15 month check up and Serena’s going to need her doctor and dentist check up for school. Can you believe they make you do a dental check up before your kid starts school now? When I was little it was just medical check up, things have changed I guess.

I’m also working on a new layout, I have the graphics done, I’m just trying to figure out how to code it myself. Like I said before, it’s been a long time since I’ve done layouts myself.

My wonderful brother got me paint shop pro! Now I can work on making my own layouts finally. I hope I can do it lol it’s been a while

I work tonight 5 to 11. That’s the latest I’ve worked so far, so we’ll see how that goes. So far the job isn’t that bad. The people are nice, except everyone that works there thought I was a teenager. I’m like no I’m 25, married with 2 kids. I’m getting better at register, it’s harder than I thought it would be haha. The buttons are abreviations for everything and some of the abbreviations don’t make sense. I haven’t gotten to make food yet, I actually wanna do that soon so that I know what’s on what when customers ask.

Other than that not too much else going on. I feel bad because I haven’t been able to to go Serena’s games since I’ve been working. She has a game tonight and it’s our turn to bring snacks, so Javy has to go today.

Time to pick up Serena from school, ttfn!

I got my purse in the mail today that I won from Lisa. I love it, I was so excited when I saw the box by the door. I know I’m a dork lol.

Gotta go get Serena from school, I’ll post pictures from our trip to the park yesterday later.

Still working on getting the flickr working right, so no pics yet, sorry. But I did download a new theme as you can see. I wish I could make my own design, but like I’ve said before I don’t have a graphics program anymore at the moment.

JJ had his one year check up today. He is 23 pounds 7 ounces and 30 inches long, a little above average for both. Poor little guy had three shots and the TB test done. I have to take him back on Monday to get the results for the TB test and take him to the lab for some blood drawn. I was going to take him today, but I figured he had enough needle trauma for one day.

Thanks to a couple members over at Exploding Heart :hug: I now have custom smilies that I got over at like-honey a while back.  I’m slowly getting the hang of WP. I want to make a new layout, but I don’t have a program for graphics right now so I’m stuck with this one for now.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and my mom is going to watch the kids so Javy and I can go out to dinner. This will be our first kid free outting since I don’t even know when. I think we’re going to Red Lobster because the one we go to we usually don’t have to wait too long even on Valentine’s Day. It’ll be nice to relax and eat by ourselves

I did end up getting the purple Kodak Easyshare M1063. So far I love it. As soon as I upload pics I’ll share them so you can see how much better the pictures are compared to my old camera.

JJ’s party is cancelled due to the rain coming to San Diego. Stupid rain. We decided to just have the grandparents come over and have a dinner and cake instead. We didn’t want a party and people get sick and blame us for it.

I have to call my mom so TTFN lol.

Monday was my mom’s birthday, but I wasn’t able to do anything for her. So today I’m taking her to Soup Plantation. What makes it even better is I don’t have to take either of the kids! Javy is actually going to watch them so I can have an hour or so to myself, how great is that? I wonder if he’ll let me go to the store and get my books he promised me while I’m out. He said I could buy Twilight and a cook book. I can’t resist seeing what all the hype is about Twilight. All I have to say is it better be good.

I got a call back from one of the places I sent my resume to the other day.  I hope he calls back for a face to face interview. I really need to get a job. Javy’s uncle’s mother-in-law said she would watch the kids if I went back to work. That was the one thing that I was worried about, daycare is expensive. Yay for relatives lol.
