I think I got the flickr plugin working right, thanks to Randi over at Ex H.

I got my purse in the mail today that I won from Lisa. I love it, I was so excited when I saw the box by the door. I know I’m a dork lol.

Gotta go get Serena from school, I’ll post pictures from our trip to the park yesterday later.

If you don’t already know, we live with Javy’s aunt, uncle and their three kids right now. It’s cramped with two families in a three bedroom house, but it’s cheap for us. We pay rent for the room and food, which we thought was also helping them out since they were having trouble with the mortgage. Well this past Friday night was horrible. Javy’s other uncle, Mayo, came by and wanted some songs on his new ipod. He told Javy that if we did it we could have the ear phones since he only wants the ipod for his car. So I put the songs on it for him, which I had to get from Ruben and Shelly’s  (aunt and uncle we live with) computer. Later the ear phones came up somehow and RJ (Ruben’s son) said the ear phones were theirs since I got the sogns from their computer. Ruben agrees, I told them no because they had no idea what they were doing and I did it, so they’re mine. Ruben told RJ to get them, I told RJ not to come in my room. “It’s not your room, it’s OUR room,” he says. “I pay rent therefore it’s MY room,” I told him. We went back and forth, but he ended up staying out. Later Ruben told RJ, in front of me, that Shelly didn’t want him talking to me like that. GOOD. About damn time someone said something to that spoiled rude little fucker.

Moving on to later that night…Javy had gone with Ruben to his softball game. They were drinking, of course, so when they got home at around 11:30 Javy decided to make a quesadilla. Ruben started talking shit about him eating so late and making a mess in the kitchen. Javy told him that I would do the dishes in the morning. “Jennifer doesn’t do the dishes like Shelly,” Ruben told him. WTF?! Seriously what’s wrong with how I do dishes? As long as their clean, what else matters? I clean every day, except weekends because I don’t like feeling like they’re watching me clean, what more do you want from me? I am sick and tired of living here. I can’t wait to move. I want Javy’s godfather to get his new house already so we can rent the one he’s living in now. It’s going to be so much better.

Still working on getting the flickr working right, so no pics yet, sorry. But I did download a new theme as you can see. I wish I could make my own design, but like I’ve said before I don’t have a graphics program anymore at the moment.

JJ had his one year check up today. He is 23 pounds 7 ounces and 30 inches long, a little above average for both. Poor little guy had three shots and the TB test done. I have to take him back on Monday to get the results for the TB test and take him to the lab for some blood drawn. I was going to take him today, but I figured he had enough needle trauma for one day.

I started this post on Monday…

I planned on posting last night at 8:51 because that would have been exactly one year since JJ was born, but I was in the shower so whatever I’m doing it now. I also planned on typing out a longer post, but I don’t think that’s going to happen.

On Valentine’s day Javy and I dropped the kids off at my mom’s house. We had to stop at home so Javy could change his shirt because his top button broke. Then finally we were off to Red Lobster. Good food + good drinks - kids = best night ever lol. After dinner we picked up JJ said goodnight to Serena, she stayed the night at grandma’s, came home watched cops and AMW then fell asleep.

Sunday was supposed to be JJ’s party, but the weather forcast was heavy rain so we cancelled it on Wednesday. By Friday however Sunday’s forcast was free of rain, but it was too late to call everyone back. Instead we just had a small get together with the grandparents and the neighbors. After we picked Serena up we went to the store and bought all the meat and veggies to make our carne asada and all the fixings. I learned how to make the red rice that I love and Javy has been wanting me to learn how to make. I also made green hot sauce for the first time. Last time I just watched Shellie make it, this time I did it all. I was so proud of myself lol. I made the rice, hot sauce and guacamole salsa The only things I didn’t make was the meat and chicken (that’s the griller’s duty) and the beans because Shellie started those while we were at the store. We also bought an amazing looking cake while we were at the store. Javy asked the lady to put Happy Birthday on it. The store we went to is a majority of Mexicans whose first language is not English, so it explains what she wrote, kind of. She wrote Happy Budhay or something like that lol it was hard to tell. Other than that the cake was delicious, it was a small round cake with cupcakes around it. It was all chocolate with chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered oreos on top, inside the cake was strawberry filling…omg yum. It was a fun day, until I had to do all the dishes lol. Not too much has been going on. Monday Javy had the day off. He was supposed to start at his new/old job. New because it’s a different place from last week, old because it’s his boss from a few years ago that came back to San Diego to open up shop again. His boss wasn’t in town as planned on Monday though. Apparently someone tried to break into his Infinity FX over the weekend in Arizona. But since they couldn’t take the car they decided to destroy it instead. The seats were slashed big time, the ignition all messed up and I forget what else. So the boss was stuck in Arizona on Monday trying to get everything sorted out. Tuesday Javy was home too and yesterday he came home early. Today he had a few things to do, so we’ll see when he gets home. Oh yeah not this coming Monday, but the Monday after Javy is going to Arizona for a couple days to do some jobs that his boss has left from the business he had in Arizona So I’m going to be stuck here with the kids by myself living in his aunt and uncle’s house. I already feel in the way, but without Javy here it’s going to be worse.

A couple years ago I tried paid blogging, and the site I used actually worked. Well it did whenever there were opportunities left for me to take advantage of. I ended up not using the site anymore because eventually there was nothing I could post about. That site also had requirements that my blog no longer could meet. Recently, though, I found this site that also offers blog marketing. Paying post, from what I’ve seen so far, doesn’t have the same requirements of the site I used previously. My site was approved for one lol, at the other site I would have been denied for not being open long enough. From what I’ve read about paying post on their site and from people who use it, it really works and you can make some good extra money using it. Who can’t use a few extra bucks in these hard times? They even have an affiliates program so you can make even more money! All you have to do is add a banner to your site and if someone signs up and writes and approved post you get fifteen dollars.

Today is JJ’s 1st birthday I’ll post about today and Valentine’s later, with pics I promise.

Thanks to a couple members over at Exploding Heart :hug: I now have custom smilies that I got over at like-honey a while back.  I’m slowly getting the hang of WP. I want to make a new layout, but I don’t have a program for graphics right now so I’m stuck with this one for now.

Tomorrow is Valentine’s Day and my mom is going to watch the kids so Javy and I can go out to dinner. This will be our first kid free outting since I don’t even know when. I think we’re going to Red Lobster because the one we go to we usually don’t have to wait too long even on Valentine’s Day. It’ll be nice to relax and eat by ourselves

I did end up getting the purple Kodak Easyshare M1063. So far I love it. As soon as I upload pics I’ll share them so you can see how much better the pictures are compared to my old camera.

JJ’s party is cancelled due to the rain coming to San Diego. Stupid rain. We decided to just have the grandparents come over and have a dinner and cake instead. We didn’t want a party and people get sick and blame us for it.

I have to call my mom so TTFN lol.

Next Sunday is the Big Day. Tomorrow I plan on getting the two pinatas, some of the candy and the sodas. Maybe even order the cake, we’ll see. Hopefully Javy will go with me early in the week to buy the food so we’re not running around on Friday like chickens with our heads cut off, which usually tends to be the case.

I also plan on getting my new camera tomorrow. Either the kodak eashyshare M1063 or the canon powershot A1000. I think I’m leaning more toward the kodak because it’s purple, 10.3 megapixels and about $40 cheaper. We’ll see once I get to Best Buy.

Well back to playing some WoW.

Javy had the day off yesterday so we finally took my car into Mazda for the sound we’ve been hearing and the check engine light being on. They gave us a loaner car since they don’t know how long it’s going to be. They haven’t even called to let us know what’s wrong with it, thank goodness it’s covered under warranty lol. It feel weird driving the loaner car, it’s a 2008 Mazda 6. We had a Mazda 6 before we got our current car, which is a Mazda CX7, but it’s been so long that I’ve driven something smaller than my car it’s weird lol. Hopefully they fix my baby and I get her back soon.

Javy finally said we’re having the party here at the house. I filled out the invitations and sent some out. We still have a few that I have to drive around and give out. I was also able to get the decorations and order the balloons the other day finally. All that’s left is food and the cake. We’re going to order the cake from Albertson’s, planning on getting a cupcake cake. It looks like a cake, but it’s a bunch of cupcakes together, much easier than cutting a cake and having tons of leftover cake. The plan is hot dogs and hamburgers, easier for Javy because he can cook the meat and put it in those warmer things and not worry about having to cook anymore when everyone is here. I would love carne asada, but I understand that he doesn’t want to stand in fron of the grill all day. Oh we also need the candy and pinatas, 2 of them.

Okay off to pick up Serena and go to Target.
