I’m hoping that next week I can finally play world of warcraft again. I miss it, badly. Next week is also wen the sims 3 comes out, I’m super excited about that. I am SO gettting it.

It’s freakin cold today! I don’t want to go outside, but I have to when JJ wakes up. I have to get gas, the light is on, and I have to get beer. Then when I get home I have to shower and get ready for work. Another 5 to 1 in the morning shift tonight, fun stuff.

Last night I got my shift lead trainee workbook. It’s going to be a 4 week training process with this book and like 6 books that go with it at work. Fun stuff. I also left work a little bit early last night because I wasn’t feeling right, I felt…off. I’m really tired today too, I’m not sure why. Actually I have an idea why, I just hope I’m WAY off on it. We’ll see how it goes I guess.

When I got to work on Saturday, Sandra told me that she was going to be ordering 2 shift leader books and she was wondering if I’d be interested in becoming a shift leader. It’s a chance for more money so of course I said yes. She told me to try and learn what’s on everything within the next 7 days. So starting yesterday I’m having Javy test me from the website. If I worked the line more then maybe I would know a lot more of what’s on what, but I’m always front counter or drive thru, not that I’m complaining.

Not too much else going on here, as usual. JJ’s been a big time buggaboo lately, crying all the time and we don’t really know why. I have to remember to get Serena’s transfer paperwork done and take it to the district so she can stay at her current school for kindergarten. I also have to work on getting healthy families insruance for the kids at least, JJ needs his 15 month check up and Serena’s going to need her doctor and dentist check up for school. Can you believe they make you do a dental check up before your kid starts school now? When I was little it was just medical check up, things have changed I guess.

I’m also working on a new layout, I have the graphics done, I’m just trying to figure out how to code it myself. Like I said before, it’s been a long time since I’ve done layouts myself.

I signed up for paying post in February to try and make some extra cash. I had heard that it was decent enough as blog advertising goes. At first it was good, the requirements weren’t as strict as other sites I have tried. So I was approved almost immediately and had an opportunity just as quickly. Since that first opportunity I have had one other opportunity, that’s it in about 3 months. I haven’t gotten my payment for those 2 blogs because you need to have made at least $20 for them to send you payment, I only have $18. Since the site isn’t working for me I decided to ask them for the $18 to be sent to my paypal account ASAP so that I can cancel my paying post account. I have been emailing them everyday for about 2 weeks and have not gotten a response. They have “live help” which is always conveniently offline.

So to sum this up I do not recommend anyone sign up for a paying post account so that you can avoid being ignored as well.

My wonderful brother got me paint shop pro! Now I can work on making my own layouts finally. I hope I can do it lol it’s been a while

I work tonight 5 to 11. That’s the latest I’ve worked so far, so we’ll see how that goes. So far the job isn’t that bad. The people are nice, except everyone that works there thought I was a teenager. I’m like no I’m 25, married with 2 kids. I’m getting better at register, it’s harder than I thought it would be haha. The buttons are abreviations for everything and some of the abbreviations don’t make sense. I haven’t gotten to make food yet, I actually wanna do that soon so that I know what’s on what when customers ask.

Other than that not too much else going on. I feel bad because I haven’t been able to to go Serena’s games since I’ve been working. She has a game tonight and it’s our turn to bring snacks, so Javy has to go today.

Time to pick up Serena from school, ttfn!

Since we moved we need to get some new rugs since the whole house is hardwood floors. So I decided to check out Cultural Elements’ Ethnic Gifts. Unfortunately they don’t have any rugs, but I did see some other nice furnitures and decorations. Maybe once I have some good furniture to go with those things I’ll order some of their decorative pillows or something because everything they have is made in the country it says it’s from. I thought that was pretty cool. I mean come on, a pillow from Africa, how cool is that?

Mother’s day is coming up this Sunday. I wish we had enough money to actually DO something, or maybe even get me a little gift. But of course we are broke since we just moved and everything. What I’ve really been wanting is some kind of jewelry with my birthstone, sapphire. I’ve always loved the blue sapphires. The pink ones are pretty, too, but blue is more expensive lol. I used to have some diamond and blue sapphire earrings when I was younger, but I lost one of the somehow, leaving me with one and I ended up throwing it away. Serena was born just in time to have sapphire be her birthstone too, I hope she likes them even though they’re blue lol. She is all about pink, so maybe I can get her some pink sapphire earrings or something. I remember when we first pierced her ears when she was a baby I chose the blue sapphire studs because that’s her birthstone and everyone always asked if she was a boy or a girl, even if she was wearing pink. Seriously do baby boys wear little pink clothes with flowers and bows on them? I didn’t think so. Javy would have killed me if I ever put anything like that on my son lol.

it’s been a while, oops!

we moved over the weekend finally. now we just have to finish putting everything away. i wish it was just us, without my mom and brother, but this is a hell of a lot better than where we were last week.

so far i’ve worked 2 days, not counting orientation. i work tonight, tomorrow and both days on the weekend. the only thing that really sucks is that i can’t work days because my babysitter is done. at least they are willing to work with me with the hours i can work.

ok not too much else to post, so i’m off to keep JJ out of trouble.
