2 Posts in 1 Week? Yup

Almost time to pick up Serena from her first day at her new school. They get out at 12:30 every day until next Wednesday, fun. At least I don’t have to walk too far in this damn heat. This morning Robert (Javy’s lil cousin) actually did come to walk with us to drop her off. I thought he was joking when he said he would be here at 7:45 lol. Serena’s teacher, Miss Yale, is the same teacher Robert, Jazminee, Miguel and a couple of their friends had for kindergarten. Pretty cool I think.

Back to work tomorrow, oh joy. I don’t want to go to work. Why did they have to give me so many days off in a row? Of course I’m going to get used to staying home lol. I wish we had been able to get me a car so that Javy doesn’t have to take me to work and pick me up. I guess we can still go after he gets off work and check out a couple places. I have been learning to drive his car, it’s a stick, and I’m doing pretty good. The only thing is that his car is hard to turn on so I can’t just take it to work cuz I’ll never get it turned on lol.

We’re getting a puppy Saturday. Javy’s uncle Ruben has one more puppy left and asked if we wanted her. We said sure, all I have to do now is figure out a name for her. Javy doesn’t like Ginger and someone already had a pitbull named Jade so that’s out too. Any ideas?

What To Do…

I don’t have to work until Friday. What am I supposed to do until Friday?

Wednesday is Javy’s 27th birthday, so I think the plan is to go have some drinks with his cousin Vanessa and her fiance Isiah. Also that day Serena starts at her new school. We have to switch her schools because I don’t have a car anymore. We did fix Javy’s car so that he can get to work and he can take me to work, or wherever we neeed to go. But his car has no AC. How can you survive San Diego weather without an AC in your car? It’s hard I can tell you that. So anyways that means that I can’t take her to the other school anymore so I have to enroll her in the school around the corner. At least I’ll be able to sleep a little bit more and get some workout from dropping her off and picking her up. I just have to get my ass over there and get her registered.

I’m also hoping that I can get something done with this site in the next 4 days. (I totally can’t believe I have 4 days off in a row, I’m totally prepared for a call saying Jenn can you come in tonight.) I want to make a layout and get it up, but don’t hold your breath because I’ve said that many times and nothing has happened lol.

Tonight we’re making steaks, baked potatoes, salad and corn. I haven’t cooked in forever because when dinner comes around I have to be at work. So these next few days I’m planning on cooking as well, and I’m excited about it. Maybe I’ll take pics of my beautiful meal tonight, if I remember lol. I need to upload pics to my flickr more often, I did it once and haven’t touched it since. I have tons and tons of pics, and probably stories to go with them, but when I sit down to post I have nothing really to say lol.

Last week Serena was at Javy’s grandma’s house with his little cousins getting her hair done because they love to do that with her. Serena told Jazminee that I don’t want Serena to look like Jazminee because I said she was something…a bad word. So Jazminee’s dad got all mad at Javy because they think I called her a bad word. Nope. I called her ass a hoochie because I didn’t want to say anything worse than that. Javy on the other hand did call her a hoe lol. There’s a lot to back it up, plus her myspace pics don’t help her argument that she’s not one. But whatever she wants to go around kissing whoever she wants and dressing however she wants go ahead, so what happens and where it gets you. I guarantee you won’t be happy with how you end up honey.

OK off to make the salad for dinner.

School’s Around the Corner

Lot of drama has gone on between me and Javy in the past few weeks. I was stupid and let’s leave it at that. I’m lucky he still wants to be with me and I plan on making it up to him for the rest of my life.

Yesterday I had the day off, so Javy took the day off as well so he could get some court stuff done and we could spend the day together.We also finally got the house sprayed for ants because it was getting to be ridiculous how many ants we were getting. Since we had to be out of the house for a few hours after they sprayed we went school shopping for Serena. It went nice and smooth too since she is in Tulare with Javy’s mom until tomorrow. We were able to get her clothes that were NOT pink or princess lol. She’s getting so big already, she starts kindergarten on Monday. Seriously? Monday? Already?! We got her a princess backpack and everything else on the list it said she needs. Kids need dry erase markers now, did you know that? I mean why do they need them? Whatever she has some.

When she starts school I’m going to be so tired, it’s not even funny. I’m going to be getting off work at like 1 AM, get home around 1:30, fall asleep at 2. Then I have to get up early enough to get the kids and myself dressed so we can drop Javy off at work, leaving by 7. Then Serena starts school at 8:20. Hopefully I can take a decent nap with JJ while Serena is at school. Tuesdays are gonna suck though because she gets out like 12 or 1 something instead of 2:45. Fun times.If we didn’t have to turn the camry back in (don’t ask) then my mornings wouldn’t be so damn busy, but we did and now I’m going to be sleeping any chance I get lol.

New Car

I got a new car on Thursday. I love my Mazda CX7 but it’s too much to pay every month ($600!!) plus it takes premium gas, which is way too much money right now. So we went and found an awesome car, not what I really wanted, but I still love it. I got a 2005 Camry SE V6. Personally I love the color because no one else has that color in the family, it’s like a silvery blue, but a few people don’t like the color. But you know what? I don’t care because I drive it, not them lol. I’ll take pictures later, I would take them now, but Javy took it to work :grumpy: I hate when he does that, it just wastes gas I don’t know why he didn’t take the Mazda, ugh.

Not too much else going on here. My mind is always going crazy about some stuff, so I try to stay busy so I can’t think lol. Other than that just working, 2 more weeks until I am shift lead, which will be great because I’ll get a 50 cent raise. Better than nothing right?

Free Wordpress Themes

As you may or may not know I have been having trouble creating my own themes for wordpress because it has been so long since I’ve had my own site. Which is why I use free wordpress themes. Even then though I am very picky about which ones I use. This article helps with explaining the different themes and it even includes a couple sites that have free wordpress themese as well. The one thing this article does not help me with is making the themes my own ya know? Like customizing it with my own graphics so I feel better about having it up on my site. I don’t like using other people’s themes, but until I can get back into my groove it will have to do. The article also brings up paying for your own personalized themed made by someone else, unfortunately I do not have the extra money for something like that. Plus I do not think I would spend that money even if I had it, no offense to anyone who does buy their themes. I’m not just that much into my site as I used to be to pay for one. The article also talks about installing themes and gives a couple sites that can help you with that. Overall this article would be helpful for anyone new to wordpress and its templates.

Crazy Week

This past week has been crazy. I don’t really want to go into too much detail, but I will say that emotions were all over the place. We were together, seperated, about to be divorced and back together all in the past week. Words were exchanged obviously. But we’re past everything and working on becoming stronger together.

Yesterday I was looking at my videos on myspace and I saw one I haven’t seen in forever. It was Serena saying words she knew how to say when she was about 18 months. I forgot how much she did talk when she was that little. JJ is 17 months now and doesn’t talk. He says ba which depending on how he says it can mean bath or ball and then he says da which is usually when he points at stuff and is supposed to mean that lol. He’s a crazy one that’s for sure. He plays pow pow with Javy too, he socks Javy hard as heck and he just started choking him too. He’s gonna be able to defend himself at least haha.

K well I have to go to work as soon as Javy gets back with my car, which should be any minute now.

i’m super pissed off right now, but i need to post since it’s been a while.

i’m supposed to be at work right now, but javy got arrested. why? i don’t know for sure every detail yet. but i do know it’s mostly because my kids were not in their carseats when he took them to see fireworks. i don’t know for sure why he got pulled over, probably speeding like always. i don’t know why he’s such an idiot. and i really don’t know why i put up with it.

i’m gonna go try to get some sleep, goodnight.

Quick Update

Quick post between loads of laundry.

I get more spam comments than I do real comments lol. Oh well.

I had today and yesterday off, it’s great to have 2 days off in a row. Yesterday was Father’s Day, duh, so Javy’s grandma had a BBQ at her house for all her sons who are all fathers. They hired a mariachi band for 2 hours, like always. It was okay, but I wasn’t in a party mood, that happens after 7 days in a row of working at Taco Hell, I mean Bell.

Freakin Tired

Last night I was scheduled for 5:30 to 9:30 but I ended up having to stay until 3am! Fun stuff….not really. I’m freakin tired as hell, I fell asleep almost 4am and then had to get up at 8 to get Serena ready for school and take her. Then I had to go to the bank and cash my check, go to the other bank and deposit it. I need a nap, badly, but idk if i’ll get one. Okay well Robert’s here n I gotta pick up Serena soon anyway, tata!

My Baby is Getting Old

Serena’s preschool promotion was on Friday. They had a performance, received certificates and had cake, but the last day of school is this coming Friday. On the last day of school the class is going to be at the park, so I have to take her there and JJ and I will be staying, too. Which remind me I signed up for drinks and plates, so I hope I don’t forget to buy them.

Saturday was Serena’s last T-ball game. They won, which is always good. Everyone got a little trophy with their name on it (thanks to Ruben’s bitch fit about names on the trophies ). We also went to a party at Javy’s grandma’s house which was for Danny’s HS graduation, Robert’s MS graduation and Miguel’s 16th birthday. (All Javy’s little cousins.) Robert ended up getting a little tipsy off of someone’s drink. That boy can’t handle his alcohol, I know he’s only 14, but I think he’ll always have that problem.

Moving on…I also got another month of play time for WoW last night. I haven’t played in forever. I started a new toon because I didn’t feel like jumping onto my 48 hunter and being ganked while trying to level lol. Javy also said that maybe when I get paid Tuesday I can buy my Sims 3. *fingers crossed*

Other than that I’ve been working a lot. Mostly 5pm to 1am shifts, fun stuff. My next day off isn’t until Sunday, Father’s Day, because I requested it off for the BBQ at Javy’s grandma’s house. (Yes almost every party is over there lol. Which is great now since we live right down the street.) Also I know I keep saying I’m working on a layout, but I really am, I just don’t have the time or patience to sit and work on one for hours  that I need like I used to back in the days.
